A very light hearted setting of three English Jokes. Don’t panic, the first very short movement depicts a rather rude joke that is not mentionable. The second a joke I heard some time ago and also not mentionable and the third is the ubiquitous Talking Dog Joke. This is where either the Horn player can be designated with the job of telling/narrating the joke whilst accompanies by the other players, or, if the horn player wants to play the optional horn part, another person, maybe a client at an event or an actor/personality can be coached to place the text at the relevant points in the piece.

It really has to be experienced to be believed.
