agm digital arts manages the publishing and rights issues of classical composer and multi-media artist Anthony Gustav Morris. agm digital is registered in Germany but Anthony now lives and works out of Vienna, Austria. We both create and manage many projects. This section deals with activities that are current - recordings - live events and developments that are ongoing.
There is also a section that deals with past projects.

TECHNOLOGY

Over the past years there have been many technical developments. These range from software design and programming, microphone system design and development, audio systems, surround sound systems for large venues and replay environments for educational usage.

AGM was formed in the UK in 1985 and moved to Germany in 1992.

The company has managed many projects. These have been composing projects for film and television where Anthony has worked as a composer. Also, large corporate events as well as software and hardware developments. It has really been the case that each and every project has required a different approach and agm digital arts GmbH provides the backbone support to handling both simple as well as very complicated contractual and creative matters.

Some projects Anthony manages on his own, his composing for example. He also manages a contracted group of specialists who join the company for the required period.

art despite technology

The company motto has been “art despite technology” for a long time. This is because we often provide the interface between artistic endeavours and the technology developments necessary to realise the project well.

Clients have often needed someone to literally translate their creative ideas into the vocabulary that can lead to a technological solution. Anthony’s experience in both the creative spheres as well as in technological development comes in particularly useful. Providing an artistic solution despite the foibles of technology in many cases.

The slogan “art despite technology” has now become the umbrella organisation of artistic projects that are now adopted under this heading.

For example the new “ensemble.1927.wien” is now an orchestral group that is making recordings of the works of Anthony G Morris and several other smaller chamber ensembles who come under this banner now. Releases are planned for protected mobile formats as soon as these become available later in 2011.

We also have a sales arm of the company that helps source technology for our own projects and also represents several major manufacturers in European territories.

If you are planning or considering anything, from the building of a theatre to even a home studio system you’ll probably find a call to this entity anything but a waste of time.
