Background
About the work
A very light-hearted setting of three English jokes. The first two are deliberately left undescribed; the third is the ubiquitous Talking Dog joke. The horn player can be given the narration while the other players accompany, or an actor, guest or other personality can take the spoken part while the horn player plays the optional horn part.
The first performance took place at Stadttheater Gießen on 1 April 2012 with members of the Philharmonisches Orchester Gießen and Roman Kurtz as narrator. It really has to be experienced to be believed.
