The research concerns theatre director Fritz Fischer and the Bayerische Staatsoperette / Theater am Gärtnerplatz across the Nazi and post-war periods. A substantial documentary record has been assembled, but the material is complex and does not benefit from premature conclusions.

For the moment, the project page records the existence of the work rather than attempting to turn an unfinished historical investigation into a finished film pitch.
